1) Visiting the Website

When you visit our website, our web server automatically collects information about your visit based on our legitimate interests (for example, the browser used, operating system, Internet Service Provider (ISP), IP address, date and time of access). These data help us to continuously improve the usability of our website and optimize the content.

These pieces of information normally cannot be linked back to your identity, so they generally do not constitute personal data.

2) Use of Google Analytics

  1. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer, to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
  2. If IP anonymization is enabled on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other Signatory States of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transferred. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
  3. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator.
  4. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
  5. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, note that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website in full. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser add-on available via the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
  6. This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. As a result, IP addresses are processed in a shortened form; any personal reference can thus be excluded. If any personal reference is obtained, it is immediately removed, and the personal data are deleted.
  7. We use Google Analytics to analyse our website usage and to improve it regularly. Through the statistics obtained, we can enhance our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases where personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has committed to the EU-US Privacy Shield.

3) Use of Google Maps

  1. On this website, we use the Google Maps service. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the site and enables you to use mapping features comfortably.
  2. By visiting the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the relevant subpage. Data collected when you visit the website will also be transmitted. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account where you are logged in or if no user account exists. If you are logged in with your Google account, your data will be associated directly with it.
  3. If you do not want your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the relevant button. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or tailoring its services to user needs. Even users who are not logged in may have their data used for interest-based advertising and to inform other users of social networks about their activity on our website.

You have a right to object to the creation of such user profiles; to exercise that right, contact Google.

Further information about the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the plug-in provider, as well as your privacy rights and settings, can be found in the provider’s privacy policy.

Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has committed to the EU-US Privacy Shield.

4) Cookies

On the basis of our legitimate interests, we use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer. They allow us to track your visit to the website to enhance its usability. They are also used to store settings between your visits or to enable technical functionality of the website.

You can opt out of cookie use at any time by deleting the cookies set by the website. This can be done via your web browser’s settings and by deleting all cookies.

5) Contact via Email or Contact Form

When you contact us by email or via a contact form, data security cannot be guaranteed, since the Internet is neither secure nor confidential. Transmission of sensitive information or data over the Internet occurs at your own risk; we disclaim any responsibility for communication via email. If you still contact us via email, you authorize us — unless explicitly stated otherwise — to respond by email.

6) Transfer of Data to Third Parties or Abroad

Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties nor transferred abroad. Exceptions are Google Analytics (see section 2) and Google Maps (see section 3). Please also see section 5 above regarding the insecure nature of the Internet.
